Registration
The ACE (Antarctic Climate Evolution) Paleoclimate and Ice Sheet Modeling Workshop will be held in Northampton Massachusetts, May 30-June 2, 2002. Response to the first circular has been very positive and we're looking forward to a productive meeting. Registration and abstract submission deadlines have been extended to May 1 and May 15th, respectively. To reserve your place at the meeting, please forward the required information (see below) to Rob DeConto deconto@geo.umass.edu by May 1, 2002.

A registration fee of $200 will include transportation to and from Northampton (from either Bradley International Airport or Logan International Airport, an opening reception (May 30th), breakfast and lunch on May 31-June 1, and lodging in the historic Hotel Northampton (www.hotelnorthampton.com). Standard accommodation is a shared double room. Single rooms are available at an additional cost of ~$65 per night, plus taxes and any incidentals. Details related to payment of the $200 registration fee will be provide shortly.

We hope to provide travel support to most if not all participants. Full support may be available on a need basis. All participants are responsible for arranging their own air transportation. Reimbursements will be handled at the workshop. Bradley International Airport in Hartford Connecticut provides the best access to Northampton. Bradley is recommended over Logan Airport in Boston. Participants are strongly encouraged to stay for the entire meeting (arrival in the afternoon of May 30th and departure in the morning of June 2).
