Hi all,

Sorry, I can't make it to AGU and that I can't be there on Dec. 7th.
I do have an agenda item that could be worth discussing at some point: Damian and I made a proposal for this back in Vienna. Would it be good to have some public outreach materials on the ACE website? The format could be short newspaper style accounts of ACE related activities with one or two photos. At this point I am not sure how much work this would generate for Rob and Steve to put this on the website, so that would be an issue to discuss first. Damian and I spoke about how we could take turns in contacting people to produce the text and photo's. E.g., BAS is having a field season on James Ross Island this Antarctic summer. Gene Domack and colleagues will be sailing on the N.B. Palmer to the Peninsula March 2006. In Fall 2006 the first ANDRILL season could generate some text and photo's and so on. I would be happy to contact the people involved for materials. I am sure there are lots of activities that I don't know about. Perhaps we as a steering committee could make a list of planned projects covering a wider range of ACE activities .
